Josh Franks grew up in Lawrenceville, GA. He studied Biochemistry and Plant Biology at the University of Georgia. After receiving both degrees, he worked in an NMR lab at UGA studying protein structure. Protein structure is cool and all, but beer just kept calling his name. After a brief stint at (the now defunct) Slice and Pint in Emory Village, Josh joined our production team to assist with packaging and scrubbing the floor. Didn’t take long for us to realize that with his background and bubbly personality he was sure to rise to the top! As head brewer, it is Josh’s job to ensure the highest quality beer from our facility fills your glass.
