The Atlanta Mushroom Festival was conceived in May of 2022 with the intention of cultivating a community where people with like-minded interests could learn and grow together. While most festivals happen once a year, we decided this wasn’t enough to support the swelling interest in mycology so we became a quarterly festival with our first event happening on July 30th , 2022.

Since our debut we continue to build more complexity into every fest with the intention to bring more equity, sustainability and accessibility to local, state and regional mushroom enthusiasts. Our mission is to enrich the lives of our neighbors through the power of the fungi kingdom while providing opportunities for entrepreneurship, education and entertainment. Whether a long-time enthusiast or just myco-curious, we would love for you to come out and become part of our MYCOmmunity!
