KJ & The Funkmaysons

KJ and The FunkMaysons are a 9-piece funk band from Atlanta,Ga. The band

formed in 2023 from a collection of funk loving music nerds who met in the

Edgewood Neighborhood of Atlanta and who all just couldn't get enough 70’s

based improvisational funk music. What began as an instrumental band took a

turn when they met Kelly Jewell, whose powerful and distinctive vocals quickly

became an integral part of their sound. Their unique brand of entertainment

fuses hard hitting grooves and punchy horn lines with unbelievable vocal lines

and improvisational wizardry that will make you want to dance all night.

Now hailed as Atlanta’s best rising funk rock artist, KJ and The FunkMaysons
