We Might Be at The Brewery All Weekend
For Today - A Bit About Today's 3 New Beers
  1. SO MUCH HAPPENING - IT'S STILL ABOUT THE BEER! Today we release THREE new beers (one of which - our secret beer, is only at Avondale - more on that below).  First, our flagship IPA Wise Blood returns - sort of. To celebrate 10 years in Avondale we brought it back - this version is a DOUBLE IPA, bringing more hoppy glory. Secondly, our awesome Avondale GM Hayden Augustus Markette suggested "Peach Blackbird" when we talked about doing something special for the anniversary. Great idea! It's awesome. Finally, our Secret Beer, which you'll learn more about when you arrive. Flavor-wise, expect something on the lighter side with four really cool ingredients added. We hope you enjoy all three!   2. IT'S OUR 10th ANNIVERSARY OF BREWING AND FUN IN AVONDALE ESTATES.

    TIME FLIES WHEN YOU'RE HAVING FUN - THANK YOU FOR 10 YEARS, AVONDALE! 

    R.E.M. Fans: Of course you know we are named after a certain classic from the band, and if you love their music like we do, Friday at Avondale is for you. Geoff Melkonian, lead singer and guitarist of beloved tribute band The REMakes, is performing on the patio. It's his first solo performance of R.E.M. classics and we can't wait.

    Somehow it's been TEN YEARS since we opened our first brick and mortar location. It's been such a great ride and as we look forward to opening Toco Hills, we're taking a moment to celebrate our decade in Avondale. Join us anytime all this weekend from Friday through Monday (pssst - there will be birthday cupckakes at 4pm Friday while they last). Here's 10 reasons to join us!

    1. Peach Blackbird. The first Avondale beer Eric brewed was White Blackbird. This twist should be fantastic.
    2. Geoff Melkonian of the REMakes. Singer/guitarist of our favorite R.E.M. tribute band performs solo on Friday evening.
    3. The Anniversary Glass. Check that thing out below. So cool and incorporates our vintage and current logos.
    4. The Food. We can’t tell you who is making it but trust us, it’s gonna be next level.
    5. Wiser Blood Double IPA. Our former flagship IPA returns….bigger and stronger. YUM.
    6. The Music on Memorial Day Monday. Brewmaster Eric Johnson breaks out his pedal steel to join Omer Netzer.
    7. Shaved Ice! Yep, the Kona Shaved Ice Truck will be here all four days to help usher in summer.
    8.The Anniversary T-shirt. Designer Rob Herrema tweaked our company’s 10th anniversary logo to make a one-time-only tee.
    9. There’s a Secret Beer. That’s all we can tell you.
    10. Celebrating with our Community. That’s you. Thank you for ten great years in Avondale Estates!
    11. Oh, One More Thing! Show up wearing our original "Winged Goblet" logo. You know  it if you have it and your first beer is on us! (Limit one all weekend)

LIVE MUSIC: We're thrilled to have Nero Simon & The Sunsetters providing the smooth sounds of sunsets, sand and surf. 

BACKYARD GAMES: Weather-permitting, we'll set up cornhole and ladder golf on the lawn. Steaming station onsite to see the crabby action!

New this year: VIP and Super VIP ticket options. Ticket levels as follows:

Gen Admin: All-you-can-eat crabs, Low Country Boil and select NA beverages; one drink ticket for beer, wine, margaritas.

VIP: Early entry at 12pm + All-you-can-eat crabs, Low Country Boil and select NA beverages; two drink tickets for beer, wine, margaritas.

Super VIP: Early entry at 12pm + All-you-can-eat crabs, Low Country Boil and select NA beverages; Unlimited open bar; commemorative koozie and captain's hat. 
Drinks you can enjoy at Wild Heaven: Sparkling, white, and red wines from Georgia. Margaritas. Non-Alcoholic IPA. Housemade soda & sugar free seltzer. Hard seltzer. Coke/Sprite/Jarritos. But yep, beer is the heart and soul - usually 20 or more varieties across the flavor spectrum on tap.
